Diversity and Respect

Our studio community is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-gender, multi-cultural community. Our goal is that everyone feels safe and validated in our studio.

If there is ever an incident, regardless of whether or not it is intentional or accidental due to being unaware that certain phrases may be acceptable to some and derogatory to others, students should know that they can approach any black belt instructor to share their concerns. In a respectful and educational manner we will immediately address any issue that has transpired, with the clear message that only those who can respect the beauty and sanctity of our community’s diversity are welcome in our studio.

We are a supportive and successful extended family. I am grateful for all of you who have been a part of my dream, making it our shared dream, that through Tae Kwon Do we can find the best in ourselves while helping others do the same. It is my deepest desire to ensure that our rich and supportive community continues to be safe and thrive.
